in person vs. online

I teach in-person lessons in Hendersonville, TN, so if you are local to the Nashville area I recommend meeting me at my studio! If you are interested in signing up for in-person lessons please send me a message here. Online lessons are intended for those interested in studying with me through distance learning. Pricing is the same for both!

Feel free to e-mail me with any (and I mean ANY) questions. You can expect to hear from me via e-mail within 24 hours upon signing up with me or feel free to e-mail me first. Whatever you are more comfortable with works for me.

what is the age range of students you accept?

I accept students as young as 6 years old with parental involvement and up.  If your child is under 6 and you think he or she is a good candidate for online lessons, I'd be happy to teach them if you can sit in on our lessons.  

Adults, it is never too late to start achieving your musical ambitions.  With a little time and energy, anyone can learn to play an instrument.  Try it out, I think you'll be glad you did!

How involved are parents expected to be?

I require parents to be present for 6-9 year olds first lesson.  Parents of younger students are encouraged to be present for all lessons, but not required.  You’re always welcome to sit in on our lessons or hang out on my couch! Some prefer to stay in their car :)

What about rescheduling and make up lessons?

Please give as much notice as possible if your lesson needs to be canceled or rescheduled.   I understand that emergencies and illness do occur and I'll do my best to give you a make up lesson. Due to a growing list of students and my ever evolving schedule, I'll do everything in my power to reschedule a make up lesson for you, but I am not obligated to do so. *Canceling a lesson with out giving me time to adjust my schedule creates problems for business and scheduling, so if I do not get at least 12 hours notice you will be charged for your lesson and I do not guarantee a make up or rescheduled lesson.  This is a time sensitive business and you pay for the time slot agreed upon so I hope you understand.
